The Cab application joined paws with the animal care & adoption NGO - World For all for a wonderful cause.
For just one day, Uber app users in Mumbai will stand a chance to spend time with an adorable puppy from 2 pm to 4pm by using the applications option called 'UberPuppies'.
This option works exactly the same way you book a cab. After you place a booking, within an estimated time frame mentioned, the puppies will arrive at your doorstep for 15 minutes of playtime.
This activity has been done is the US, Canada, Delhi and many places across the globe!

Since most would complain 15 minutes with the puppies will not be enough ( of course not! ), but there is much more to this activity than meets the eye! Each of the puppies that Uber will be getting to your doorstep will be beautiful Indian Breeds & through this activity World For All hopes that they can persuade people to adopt pets that need a home rather than buying them from breeders.

Thunder and Bolt: These two inseparable siblings were found running helter-skelter in the middle of a busy road when they were just two weeks old. The volunteer that spotted them couldn’t locate their mother or the rest of the litter. From then, these two have been moving from one foster to another in the hope that they will ome day get adopted.

Mishka: Mishka is an orphaned puppy who was found under a car at two months of age. She was all alone and extremely scared. However, once she started being under the care of her foster parent, Mishka has opened up and has been found to be extremely intelligent. Some of her everyday activites include hopping on two legs, using her foster sibling doggies as pillows and eating lemon grass leaves.
Lola: Lola is a special case. She was found by a World For All employee trying to cross the road at three-to-four weeks of age. Since then, she has been under foster care, and at a month and a half, has already started getting along with other pups and dogs.

Bubu: Bubu was found at a park near BKC struggling to move out since he was afraid to cross the road and so he made peace with a corner where he sat, all alone and scared. Once taken into foster care, he was found to be lost for the first few days. However, his foster has seen a drastic change in the once shy and docile Bubu who has now become so playful, can beat any dog to a game of high jump and has looks that would get all them female puppies floored.
I cant think of a better way to spend by Saturday Afternoon! Can you ???
